Charlie’s Two Today

My little Grandson Charlie
Turns two today
I wish he was here with me
So that I could say

Happy Birthday Mr Charlie
And I’d seal it with a kiss
Cuddle him so tightly
And a second kiss won’t miss

Come here you little scallywag
As sure he’d run away
You’ll cop another birthday kiss
Before the end of your birthday

I’m coming and I’ll get you
And plant another kiss
But he’d run into his Mother and hide
So the second kiss I’ll miss

You’re Mother won’t support your
Cause to miss another kiss
And he’ll giggle and he’ll scream
But I never miss a second kiss
